Young Greek Researcher Visits ASTRID2 Through NEPHEWS ESR Programme
In October, Dr. Eirini Ligielli, a Post doctoral researcher from National and Kapodistrian University of Athens visited the ASTRID2 synchrotron radiation facility as part of the NEPHEWS Early Stage Researcher (ESR) programme.
Dr. Ligielli research focuses on and characterization of novel complexes using earth-abundant metals with “pincer”-type and bidentate ligands.
During her stay at ASTRID2, Dr. Ligielli took part in experimental activities at both the materials beamline and the microARPES beamline.
The visit provided valuable hands-on experience and broadened her understanding of the capabilities offered by synchrotron facilities.
