Researchers’ Night at the SOLARIS Centre

On 27 September 2025, the SOLARIS Centre once again opened its doors during the Małopolska Researchers’ Night, inviting visitors on a journey into the world of synchrotron light, science, and modern technologies.

Many guests were eager to see how the synchrotron operates and to learn how synchrotron radiation helps uncover the mysteries of matter.

The NEPHEWS Project

At a special stand prepared by the NEPHEWS project team, participants had the opportunity to:

• learn about the project’s main goals and objectives,
• play an educational game highlighting the 8 target countries supported by the project,
• receive small promotional gifts.

Attendance

Over 500 people took part in the activities organized by the NEPHEWS team. The strong turnout shows that science can fascinate and inspire—especially when experienced first-hand.
